HARTFORD, Conn. - Emily Caldwell wrapped up her freshman campaign with a pair of matches on the opening day of the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships on Friday hosted by Trinity (Conn.).
Caldwell lost two tough four-game matches in the Holleran Division (Women's B Draw) to conclude her freshman campaign for the Diplomats. She captured the first game in both defeats, but ultimately fell in four. In her opener against Cornell's Margaret Remsen, Caldwell dropped a 9-11, 12-10, 11-4, 11-1 decision, before falling to Sarah Loucks of Dartmouth 3-11, 11-2, 11-4, 11-6 in the consolation bracket.
Caldwell held down the No. 1 spot for F&M for most of the year, tallying five victories in her rookie season.
