Crawley Resets School, CC Records in 1500

CHESTER, Pa. - Sheena Crawley ran to a school and Centennial Conference (CC) record time in the 1500 meters to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team at the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet on Monday night. There was no team scoring in the event.

Crawley crossed the finish line in second place in 4:25.10 to break her own school mark by nearly three seconds (4:27.98) and top the CC record, 4:25.49 by Johns Hopkins' Annie Monagle, who reset Crawley's CC mark earlier in the 2013 outdoor season.

Rebecca Swisher claimed third in the pole vault at 11'-1.75", while Martha Stefaniak also notched a third-place finish with a throw of 121'-7.75" in the discus.

Kristen Marinaccio took fifth in the long jump with a mark of 16'-8.75".

Several Diplomats will be back in action on Thursday at the Springfield Last Chance Meet.
