Series History: Saturday's game marks the 10th time these schools will meet on the gridiron and the sixth time since Juniata attained associate membership status in the Centennial Conference. F&M has won all six meetings since the Eagles have landed in the league. Prior to that, the home team had won each meeting. F&M's 27-12 win in Huntingdon in 2007, rekindled the rivalry after 21 years and ended the home team dominance. The first two contests were played in Lancaster - 61 years apart. The Diplomats won the first game between the schools played back on Oct. 18, 1924, by a 27-0 margin. It wasn't until Sept. 14, 1985 that the institutions reconvened, again on Sponaugle-Williamson, for a 21-0 Diplomats victory. The following year in Huntingdon, the Eagles scored their first points against F&M, picking up a 21-11 win on Sept. 13.

The Last Meeting: E.J. Schneider and Frank Strumolo had career days as Franklin & Marshall escaped with a 45-38 win over Juniata in CC action. Schneider tossed five touchdowns and finished with 319 yards on 26-for-30 passing while Strumolo added 127 yards on the ground with two rushing scores and one receiving touchdown.
Tim Muller finished with a game-high 121 receiving yards on seven catches and Paul McGann added 78 yards on five catches.
Devin Hunter averaged 44.7 yards on three punts; with a long of 58 while Aaron Fant picked up 110 yards on four kickoff returns.
Brian Velasco led the F&M defense with 12 (5a, 7a) tackles and Sam Massaro finished with 11 (5s, 6a) stops. Kenny Provost had eight tackles, two went for losses, and joined in on a sack.
C.T. Marsh had seven stops, two for a loss and finished with a sack. Brendan Wengerter, Mike Shin, Ryan Young and Chris DeStefano all finished with six stops apiece.
