LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall hosted the second annual Coach I Open Friday evening at the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center.
Kimberly Hilfrank took first in the 1,000 at 3:18.72, while Victoria Ngo came in fourth with a time of 3:23.65. F&M swept the 1 mile with Mallory Reed leading the way at 5:45.57 followed by Caroline Stein (5:53.55), Brielle Stander (6:12.19) and Jessica Love (6:30). Samantha Greenberg also took first in the 55-meter hurdles at 9.87.
F&M claimed two golds in the field with Maya Jackson taking first in the shot put with a school-record throw of 40'-9.75" and Rebecca Swisher turned in a height of 11'-.25" for first in the pole vault. Livia Meneghin placed behind Jackson in the shot with a throw of 36'-.75"
F&M returns to action on Feb. 8 when the Diplomats travel to Susquehanna for the Crusader Classic.
