HAVERFORD, Pa. – Rebecca Swisher won the pole vault for the second year in a row with a height of 11'-5.75" to lead Franklin & Marshall at the 2014 Centennial Conference (CC) Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Haverford Sunday afternoon.  

The Diplomats placed eighth with 41 points with Johns Hopkins taking the team title with 243.33 points. Swarthmore (81.5) took second followed by Dickinson with 104 points.  

Morgan Gray claimed silver in the triple jump at 35'-4.5" while Maya Jackson earned bronze in the shot put with a throw of 41'-2.5". Livia Meneghin also had a good showing in the shot put with a toss of 38'-9.75 for sixth. 

The 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 all placed seventh to earn points for the Diplomats. Olivia Bendit, Gray, Jackson and Samantha Greenberg made up the 4x200 that finished in 1:55.16 while Greenberg, Swisher, Brielle Stander and Bendit teamed up in the 4x400 for a time of 4:26.38.  

The 4x800 finished in 10:17.49 and included Caroline Dorey-Stein, Kimberly Hilfrank, Victoria Ngo and Mallory Reed while Hilfrank, Greenberg, Rachael Weiss and Reed placed sixth in the distance medley at 13:16.89. Samantha Walmer finished in eighth place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.12.  

NCAA Championships start March 14 for those that qualified with the outdoor season set to start the same week at the Coastal Carolina Open.
