F&M Competes at Paul Kaiser Classic and West Chester Open

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team competed at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday afternoon, while several field athletes participated in the West Chester Open on Friday afternoon. 

In the 400-meter hurdles, Samantha Greenberg placed 16th at 1:12.80, while Samantha Walmer took 21st in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.69.

At the West Chester Open, Rebecca Swisher won the pole vault with a height of 3.50 meters, while Morgan Gray was also victorious in the triple jump at 10.40 meters.

Maya Jackson's shotput distance of 11.25 meters was good for second, while Livia Meneghin finished third at 10.25 meters. In the discus throw, Jackson placed second (36.15 meters) and Mengehin finished fifth (32.75 meters). 

The Diplomats return to action next weekend at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championship at Swarthmore.
