Game 4: Franklin & Marshall (1-2, 0-2 CC) at Juniata (2-1, 1-1 CC)
600: F&M enters the week with a 598-478-47 all-time record and is just two wins shy of becoming the eighth Division III institution to amass 600 victories.
Series History: Saturday's game marks the 11th time these schools have convened on the gridiron and the seventh time since Juniata attained associate membership status in the Centennial Conference. F&M has won all seven meetings since the Eagles have landed in the league. F&M's 27-12 win in Huntingdon in 2007, rekindled the rivalry after 21 years. The first two contests were played in Lancaster - 61 years apart. The Diplomats won the first game played back on Oct. 18, 1924, by a 27-0 margin.
The Last Meeting: Jordan Zackery finished with 344 all-purpose yards to help lead Franklin & Marshall to 46-16 victory over Juniata last season.
Zackery finished with 291 return yards, 123 on kick returns and 168 on punt returns, and scored twice. He added another 46 on five catches for the Diplomats.
E.J. Schneider completed 23-of-36 passes for 249 yards and two scores and added another 80 on the ground with two more scores. He had two punts go for 102 yards and both landed inside the 20.
Paul McGann had a team-high six catches for 59 yards and Muller finished with 53 yards on five catches and a touchdown while Scott LaValva picked up 51 yards with four receptions.
The offensive line led by Ryan Ignatovig, Chad Tothero, Matthew Pisarcik, Sam Dickinson and Frank Seitz paved the way for 122 yards on the ground and did not allow a sack the entire contest.
Brendan Wengerter was all over the field and finished the game with a game-high 13 tackles (6s, 7a). Wengerter had 4 sacks, four tackles for a loss and forced a fumble as the Diplomats defense limited Juniata to just 255 yards, its lowest production of the year.
John Stark had nine tackles (4s, 5a) and forced a fumble while Aaron Fant and Jordan Blair each came away with an interception. Brian Velasco had seven stops and Troy Harrison picked up half a sack and finished with three tackles.
