EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall competed at the Deschriver Invitational hosted by East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon.  The invite featured teams from Division II & III and was a non-team scoring meet.

Rebecca Swisher took gold and reset the meet record in the pole vault with a height of 11'-11.25".  Alyssa Ward took third in the high jump with a height 5'-2.5" in an event that featured 23 participants.

Maya Jackson and Livia Meneghin took sixth and seventh in the shot put with distances of 39'-2.25" and 38'-11.75" while Grace Adam and Kimberly Hilfrank turned in times of 5:37.13 and 5:38.48 for sixth and seventh in the mile.

Evan Friend won the 200 in 22.89 in a field of 27 runners and Brad Krell crossed in 23:88. Friend also turned in a top-10 time out of 52 runners in the 55-meter with a time of 6.73. The 4x400 relay team of Friend, Krell, Leo Generali and John Vallachi placed seventh at 3:34.15.

F&M returns to action on Saturday when the Diplomats travel to Susquehanna.
