CHESTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall put together four top-10 finishes on Saturday at the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener, in women's track & field action. The day featured several Division I, II, and III schools and was a non-scoring Invite.
Alyssa Ward had two top-10 finishes, as the freshman finished tied for second in the high jump with a height of 4'-11.75" and added an eighth place spot in the long jump at 16'-00.50". Rebecca Swisher's height of 11'-10.50" was good for second out of 19 competitors, and Livia Meneghin was impressive in the shot put with a second place finish at 39'-04.00".
In the 1500-meter run, Kimberly Hilfrank ranked 21st out of 100 runners with a time of 5:13.25, while Grace Adams placed 12th out of 39 participants in the 400-meter dash and Aleksandra Kiszka finished 15th and Olivia Bendit crossed at 1:06.26, good for 16th.
The Diplomats are back in action next Saturday at the Millersville Metrics.
