HAVERFORD, Pa. — Alyssa Ward claimed two golds, a silver and a bronze to lead Franklin & Marshall at the Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford on Saturday. The event was a non-team scoring invitational and featured primary division III schools.
Ward took first in the high jump with a height of 4'-11.75" and grabbed another gold in the long jump with a distance of 16'-7.25". She went on to team up with Olivia Bendit, Kaitlin Muccio and Aleksandra Kiszka for a second place finish out of eight teams in the 4x200 relay. Ward finished off the day with third place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.92.
Muccio was first out of 18 runners in the 400-meters with a time of 1:02.31 and Bendit crossed at 1:03.93, good for fifth. Muccio ran 28.04 in the 200-meter and finished third out of 27 participants.
Also in the field, Rebecca Swisher won the pole vault with a height of 12'-5.5" and Morgan Gray placed second in the triple jump at 34'-4.75".
