GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall got four first-place efforts, but finished in third place with 98 points at Saturday's Little Three Meet hosted by Gettysburg. Dickinson took the team title with 152 points.

Rebecca Swisher took first in the pole vault, posting a height of 12'-0" to win by 18 inches. In the process, she broke the stadium and meet records.

Alyssa Ward reached the podium in three individual events, headlined by a victory in the high jump as her height of 1.58 meters was good for first place. She also added a pair of second-place finishes in the 100-meter hurdles (17.40) and the long jump (4.94 meters).

Aleksandra Kiszka also earned individual victory on the day, as her time of 1:10.82 earned her gold in 400-meter hurdles. She was followed by Kaitlin Muccio, whose time of 1:12.89 was good for fourth.

Ward, Kiszka, and Muccio joined Olivia Bendit in the 4x100-meter relay, taking first place after crossing the line in 50.72. Relay success continued in the 4x400-meter relay, as Bendit, Swisher, Kiszka, and Grace Adams combined to take second with a time of 4:13.39.

Bendit earned individual silver in the 400-meter dash, as her time of 1:01.76 was good for second place. In the 200-meter dash, she clocked a time of 27.87 to take third place.

Julia Zielinski's bronze in the 5000 meters (18:38.62) and Morgan Gray's third-place effort in the triple jump (9.79 meters) rounded out top-three performances for the Diplomats.

F&M returns the track in one week as the Diplomats head to the Delaware Open next Saturday.
