STANFORD, Calif. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 13 women's squash team traveled to California for a matchup on Tuesday evening, falling to No. 5 Stanford by a 9-0 score.
The defeat dropped the Diplomats to 1-6 on the year while the Cardinal improved to 3-1.
By the Numbers
Playing shorthanded, F&M was forced to concede the No. 9 spot. Lauren Johnston put forth a strong effort at the top position on the ladder, fighting hard en route to a narrow 11-8 loss in her third game that closed out a 3-0 score.
Tuesday's meeting marked just the seventh time in history these two teams met, with Stanford now holding the 4-3 all-time edge in the series.
