EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall returned to competition on Saturday, competing at the All-American Meet, hosted by East Stroudsburg. The meet did not feature meet scoring.
Top Performances
-Rachel Wylie continued her outstanding freshman season in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in second out of 16 competitors with a time of 1:05.56.
-Alyssa Ward performed well in all three jumping events, highlighted by a second-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 11.50 meters (37'-8.75"). Her height of 1.58 meters (5'-2.25") was good for third in the high jump, and her distance of 4.81 meters (15'-9.5") was good for sixth in the long jump. She was followed by Sabrina Piccinini in the long jump, taking eighth with a mark of 4.71 meters (15'-5.5").
-Grace Adams turned in an excellent performance in the 1500-meter run, taking sixth out of 22 runners with a time of 5:09.96.
-Chelsea Frantz led the F&M charge in the 800, taking 10th out of 58 with a time of 2:25.72.
-Kaitlin Muccio paced the Diplomats in the 400-meter run, taking 12th out of 31 at 1:02.62.
-Muccio, Kizska, Frantz, and Wylie finished off the night with a fifth-place effort in the 4x400-meter relay, beating out 11 other teams with a time of 4:13.64.
