Series History: Saturday marks the 110th meeting between Dickinson and F&M and is the longest rivalry in the Centennial Conference. The series started in Carlisle on Oct. 30, 1889, with a 10-0 Dickinson win and the teams gathered again on Nov. 28th of that year, with F&M posting a 22-0 shutout. The Diplomats lead the series 64-42-3.

The Wagon: Since 1963, the F&M Diplomats and Dickinson Red Devils have competed for a model of the wagon that transported both teams to play each other in the two 1889 meetings. A gift of F&M Athletic Director J. Shober Barr and Dickinson A.D. Dave Eavenson, the trophy is meant to symbolize the friendly gridiron rivalry between the two institutions. F&M holds a 30-25 advantage since the inception of the trophy game, including an 18-year victory streak from 1970 until 1987.

Statistical Rankings: Stevie Gerovasilis is ranked 12th in the country and second in the Conference with two blocked kicks while Joe Granahan sits at sixth in the nation and first in the CC with three forced fumbles.

The Diplomats are seventh in the country with 10 fumble recoveries and second nationwide with the fewest penalties per game.

Last Time We Met: At the christening of the brand new Shadek Stadium last season, Franklin & Marshall sent the Homecoming crowd home with a dominating win over the Dickinson Red Devils 56-0. Recap.

Tanner Erisman went 10-of-17 for 161 yards and two scores through the air and chipped in with five rushes for 25 yards and two scores on the ground. Taalib Gerald led the way rushing with 96 yards on 16 carries and two rushing touchdowns.

K.J. Pretty finished the afternoon with 100 receiving yards on four grabs, including a game-high 50-yard catch on F&M's second offensive drive.

Defensively, F&M had a day for the ages. The unit held the Red Devil offense to just 11 total yards and four first downs, with an astonishing minus nine yards on the ground. The Diplomats racked up five sacks, two fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. They were led by Joe Granahan's seven total tackles and 1.5 sacks. Jackson Hale picked up two sacks, while Jeff Leone and Vincent Moffett both recorded interceptions.

Last Time out for F&M: No. 25 Johns Hopkins defeated Franklin & Marshall 42-12 on Oct. 6. Recap.

Last Time out for Dickinson: The Dickinson football team made a huge defensive stand on 4th-and-2 to stop McDaniel and run out the clock in the fourth quarter to secure a 27-20 victory on Oct. 6. Recap.

Jeremy Walsh was just shy of the century mark, covering 97 yards on 18 carries. Philip Butler and Billy Burger ran for 51 and 44 yards, respectively, while Burger completed 16-of-30 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
