Series History: F&M meets with Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opponent Washington & Lee for the 20th time in series history. F&M leads the series 15-4, however, Washington & Lee holds a one game win-streak.
Last Time We Met Washington & Lee: The Generals took an early 2-0 lead midway through the first before Maddie Hughes and Natalie Delinsky answered with two straight and tied the game at 2-2. In the second, Delinsky added another score, but W&L went on to win by a 9-3 score. Full recap.
F&M Last Week: Franklin & Marshall cruised to a 17-3 win over Elizabethtown in women's lacrosse action in the season opener. Hannah Serling led the offense with four goals and three helpers, Paige Moriarty finished with four goals and an assist, Katie Groenke struck three times and Bridget O'Donnell finished with a pair of goals.
Danielle Harrington improved to 1-0 with six saves in net while Abby Kopytko took the loss with 10 stops. F&M outshot E-Town 36-14, went 11-for-12 on clears and a had a 19-6 edge in ground balls. Full recap.
Milestone Watch: Senior Paige Moriarty finished with four goals and an assist in the Diplomats' 17-3 season-opening win against Elizabethtown to hit the 300-point mark in her career. Only four other Diplomats have reached this mark.
