COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's indoor track & field team finished sixth at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships. Alyssa Ward delivered two podium performances with a first-place finish in the high jump (1.57m) and a second-place finish in the long jump (5.17m). The women finished with 55 points while Johns Hopkins took the top spot with 235.50.
Top Performances
-Kaitlin Muccio, Aleksandra Kiszka, Rachel Wylie and Alyssa Ward teamed up for their second gold of the weekend, taking first in the 4x400-meter relay with a 4:08.09 finish.
-Ward tallied a fourth gold for F&M, clearing a height of 1.55 meters to take first in the high jump.
-Ward added a silver medal with a 5.17m jump in the long jump.
-Lindsey Powers was back in the points in the shot put, taking fifth with a throw of 11.26m.
-Kaitlin Muccio brought in points with a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter dash after a 1:02.19 finish.
