ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's women's track and field heads to Muhlenberg on Friday for the three-day Centennial Conference (CC) Outdoor Championships. Competition begins Friday at 1:00 p.m., and continues on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
The Diplomats tallied a sixth-place finish at last years Champs, totaling 68 points. Johns Hopkins tallied its ninth-straight title with 237.5 points.
Medal Hunt
Lindsey Powers returns as F&M's only podium-finisher from last season. The senior took silver in the Shot Put, entering the weekend third in the same event. Powers is also seeded fourth in the Discus Throw with a distance of 33.12m.
Rachel Wylie looks to get back on the podium after taking first in the 400m Hurdles two years ago. The junior is a strong contender with the top time in the 400H (1:03.69) and the third-best time in the 100H (15.37).
Senior Kaitlin Muccio will lead F&M's running constituency as the number four seed in the 400m Dash with a time of 59.92 while Laura Greene enters the weekend seventh in the 800m Run (2:20.81)
Wylie, Muccio, and Greene will be joined by Emily Natoli in the 4x400 Relay with their time of 4:00.68 standing second in the Conference heading into the weekend.
