LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Rachel Wylie qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, returning to the event after competing in 2017. Wylie will compete in the 400-meter hurdles when the Championships begin on Thursday at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
At the 2017 Championships, Wylie missed out on a chance to advance to the finals, finishing 16th with a time of 1:03.29.
Up Ahead
Wylie opens competition with the prelims for the 400-meter hurdles on Thursday at 4:40 p.m. If Wylie registers a top-nine finish in the event, she will earn a spot in the event's final on Saturday at 2:25 p.m. The top-eight from the event will earn All-America status.

How Wylie Got Here
Wylie's 1:02.57 finish during the preliminaries of the 400m Hurdles at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships, which she went on to win gold in, was good to place the junior 22nd in the nation and earn her spot in the NCAAs.
