Series History

F&M hits the road to face Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Wednesday. The Diplomats own an 82-17 record in the all-time series, but had their 12-game winning streak against the Fords snapped earlier this season when Haverford came away with an 82-66 win.

The Diplomats continue a road swing at Ursinus on Saturday. F&M has won three of the last four games against the Bears, and 18 of the last 22 contests, dating back to 2009.

F&M Last Time Out

F&M won a 74-72 overtime thriller when Justin Kupa dropped in a buzzer-beating jumper from the elbow. Full Recap.

Justin Kupa ended with a career-high 31 points, hitting 10-of-20 from the floor, and 9-of-11 from the line. Brian Hines ended with a double-double, netting 21 points while pulling down 11 boards and Les Thomas along with Bo Williams both finished with eight points. 

F&M outshot Muhlenberg 48%-43% and held a 40-32 edge on the glass.

Last Time F&M Met Haverford

The Fords pulled away in the second half to take an 82-66 victory in Lancaster earlier this season. Full Recap.

Les Thomas paced the offense with 11 points. Mike Rice was close behind with 10 points to accompany four assists. Jaka Pandza added nine points.

Last Time F&M Met Ursinus

The Diplomats clinched a CC postseason berth with a commanding 81-62 win over Ursinus last February. Full Recap.

Justin Kupa was effective in all facets of the game with 19 points, including 12-of-13 from the line, to go with seven boards and six helpers. Zach Ravitz had 18 points and six boards off the bench. Matt Redhead and Les Thomas chipped in with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

Among the Leaders (CC)

As of Jan. 20, Brian Hines (64.6 percent) and Solomon Mathis (56.6 percent) are first and fourth, respectively, in the CC in field goal percentage. To qualify for the shooting title, players must participate in 60 percent of team games and make three field goals per contest.

Ignas Slyka (2.9) and Justin Kupa (2.5) enter the week first and second in the Conference, respectively, in steals per game. They are the only two players averaging more than 2.0 steals per contest in the CC.
