WASHINGTON, D.C. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 18 women's squash team fought hard against No. 14 George Washington on Sunday at the final day of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Championship tournamnet but came up short by a narrow 6-3 tally.
The Diplomats, who went 1-2 on the weekend, moved to 8-9 on the year while George Washington improved to 6-14.
By the Numbers
F&M was strong toward the bottom of the lineup with Zoe Quayle (No. 7) and Grace Smith (No. 8) each sweeping their opponents. Katherine Galambos fought back from an 11-8 loss in her opening frame to secure three straight at the No. 4 spot on the ladder.
