LANCASTER, Pa. - The 4x800 relay team grabbed the gold medal in a record-setting run, helping Franklin & Marshall's women's track and field team earn 14 points on the second day of Centennial Conference (CC) Championships. The team finished the Championships in eighth place with 25 points.
Johns Hopkins collected the top spot with 262.25 points.

Alysse Danyi and Grace Miske ended neck and neck in the mile run, finishing 10th and 11th, respectively. Danyi had a time of 5:32.19, while Miske finished at 5:32.79.
- Elizabeth O'Connell came in sixth place in the 800m, finishing with a time of 2:26.30.

The team of June Sanchez, Alexis Salerno, Laura Greene, and Sydney Dzenutis set an F&M, CC, and meet record with a time of 9:29.20. The time shattered the previous Diplomat indoor record of 9:51.94, and bested the 9:30.42 time (Swarthmore, 2013) that previously held both the Conference and meet record.

The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th. The team will begin its outdoor season with the Little Three Meet, hosted by F&M, on Saturday, March 28th.
