LANCASTER, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall Field Hockey team remained undefeated in conference play with a 1-0 win over Gettysburg on Wednesday night. 

With just over seven minutes left to play in the first half, Sophie Carroll buried a shot off of an assist from Keira Boensch. It was one of seven shots for Carroll on the night, who led the team in that category.

The Bullets were held to just two shots through the first two quarters and five in total in the contest. The Diplomats racked up 25 shots with six different players putting a shot on goal. 

The win was also F&M's third straight shutout and fifth on the season.

The Diplomats will stay at home as they play host to Muhlenberg on Saturday, October 7 at 12 p.m.
