LANCASTER, Pa. - Following the end of day two at the F&M Invitational, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Swimming team saw itself in fifth place with 624 team points.

As the lone 'A' final qualifier in the 400-yard IM, Catherine Crampton missed a top-three finish by .51 seconds, coming in fourth with a time of 4:41.00. 

The Diplomats had three swimmers in the 100-yard butterfly finals, with Maddie Meley posting a second place finish in the 'C' final with a time of 1:00.35. 

The lone swimmer to qualify for the 200-yard freestyle finals, Matti Harvey topped the 'C' final with a time of 1:57.87.

Sophie Moyer registered the only individual top-three finish of the night in the 100-yard breaststroke, coming in third place with a time of 1:06.08. 

Competing in the 'B' final of the 100-yard backstroke, Sophie Bergstrom was 0.19 seconds off of third place with a time of 1:00.90.

In the relay races, Georgia May, Harvey, Caitlin Barr and Catherine Crampton came in second in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:57.05. The team of Rachel Baker, Moyer, Barr and Helen Lahmann-Metcalfe placed fourth in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:48.77. 

F&M will close out the F&M Invitational tomorrow with preliminaries scheduled for 10 a.m. and finals scheduled for 5 p.m.
