LANCASTER, Pa. - Ending day three with 884 points, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Swimming team completed the F&M Invitational with a fourth place finish.
In the 'C' final of the 100-yard freestyle,
Matti Harvey and
Helen Lahmann-Metcalfe finished first and third, respectively, with times of 54.25 and 55.11.
Catherine Crampton then won the 'B' final of the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:27.47.
As the lone qualifier of the 200-yard butterfly,
Maddie Mealey recorded a time of 2:17.60 and came in eighth place.
Georgia May picked up 26 points in the 1650-yard freestyle with a fourth place finish.
Trailing Shippensburg by three points in the team standings prior to final event of the weekend, the relay team of
Caitlin Barr,
Rachel Baker, Harvey, and
Sophie Moyer claimed third place in the 400-yard freestyle to push the Diplomats above the Raiders for fourth place.
F&M will next compete on Sautrday, December 2 at 1 p.m. with a home dual meet against McDaniel.
