MEDFORD, Mass. – The Franklin & Marshall track & field teams wrapped up the indoor portion of their season on Saturday at the Tufts Final Qualifier.
Abby Lienhard competed for the women and once again broke her own school record in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.06 seconds to advance to the finals where she placed eighth overall. Lienhard also posted a season-best mark of 5.31 meters in the long jump, another event where she is the school record holder. That distance ranks her inside the top 100 nationally across all of Division III for the entire season.
Elliott Coulter represented the men's team in the 60 meter dash where his time of 7.25 seconds placed him 13th in the qualifying heats.
With the indoor season now complete, the Diplomats will turn their attention to the outdoor season which gets underway on March 18 at the Betty S. Rogers Spring Break Invitational which will be hosted by Virginia Wesleyan.
