GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team continued its strong weekend at Stockton's Osprey Open with 10 more top-10 finishes on Saturday. Among those performances were three individuals who set personal bests that rank among the top 10 marks in school history.
Abby Lienhard set a new personal best in the long jump as she was marked at 5.26 meters for the fourth-best long jump in school history. Lienhard additionally finished seventh in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.23 seconds.
Allison Huelbig moved up to fourth place in school history as she cleared 1.52 meters in the high jump to take third overall at the meet. The Diplomats also had a top 10 all-time performance on the track where Glory Edioma finished in 17.45 seconds during the 100 meter hurdles to rank ninth in school history. With a number of field events occurring on Friday, Stephani Franks added a bronze to that haul of medals as she cleared 2.65 meters in the pole vault.
Tatum Evans had a top five finish in the 400 meter hurdles with her time of 1:11.98. The Diplomats had two top 10 finishers in the 5,000 meters as Lucy Olsen (2:27.22) and Julianne Cadden finished in back-to-back positions. The 200 meter and 800 meter contingent for F&M were led by Hope Petralia (28.33 seconds) and Valerie Fieberg (2:31.16).
Franklin & Marshall will return to a single day meet next weekend when the team travels to Bucknell for the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday, April 15.
