CHESTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team continued its chase of personal bests and improved national rankings as it sent Sydney Dzenutis to the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday afternoon.

Competing in the same 800 meter event where the recent graduate of Franklin & Marshall struck silver at the Centennial Conference Championships, Dzenutis placed eighth on Monday with a time of 2:14.41. That mark was just 35-hundredths of a second off of her personal best from the conference championship.

Dzenutis currently ranks 40th in all of Division III with her personal-best time of 2:14.06 in the event this season. The Diplomats will continue their last chance meet circuit this Wednesday and Thursday at the respective Williams and MIT Final Qualifiers.
