Game 1: #1 Johns Hopkins 5, Franklin & Marshall 1
Despite out-hitting Johns Hopkins, 6-5, the Diplomats surrendered a pair of two-run home runs in the middle innings to fall to the Blue Jays.
F&M's lone run came in the top of the sixth inning as Bobby Falese and Jakob Hoffman knocked back-to-back singles to put runners at the corners. Two batters later, Spencer Berson grounded out to first base – plating Falese.
Franklin & Marshall picked up six hits from six different players with Berson driving in the only RBI of the day for F&M.

Game 2: Dickinson 8, Franklin & Marshall 0
The Diplomats struggled to figure out Dickinson's starting pitcher Koll Peichel as the right-handed hurler allowed just four hits in a complete game showing. The Red Devils broke open the scoring with three home runs in the top of the fifth to knock the Diplomats out of the CC Tournament.
Franklin & Marshall had its chances, but couldn't convert on offense with runners in scoring position.
Trailing 2-0 in the third, Berson walked and immediately stole second. A single into right field from Pat Elliott put runners at the corners, but F&M couldn't bring the center fielder in from third as the inning ended on a groundout.
After Dickinson extended its lead to eight runs in the fifth, Elliott led off the bottom of the frame with a deep fly ball to right field. With his back against the wall, the Dickinson right fielder snared the ball out of the air to rob Elliott of a potential homer.
F&M's last good look came in the bottom of the sixth as Tommy Denlinger and Falese both reached base to leadoff the inning. Despite getting the two runners on base, Dickinson forced a fly out and back-to-back strikeouts to end the inning.
Berson, AJ Desautels, Elliott, and Falese each tallied a hit with Berson also drawing two walks in the game.
Dan Galef (6-1) was hit with his first loss of the season as he struck out four in four innings of work. Seniors Grant Burgess, Greg Nieskens, and Brooks Rush all made relief appearances in the contest. Nieskens and Rush each struck out two while Burgess tallied one strikeout in the game.
