CARLISLE, Pa. - A pair of first half goals by the Franklin & Marshall Field Hockey team led to a 2-0 victory over Dickinson on Wednesday evening. With the win, the Diplomats remained undefeated in conference play.
Less than nine minutes into the contest,
Caitlin Hoover delivered a pass to
Keira Boensch which she buried to put F&M up 1-0.Â
With under two minutes remaining in the first half,
Darby Klopp increased the Diplomat lead to 2-0 with a goal of her own.Â
The Red Devils were held to without a shot for the first three quarters, and did not register a shot on goal for the entire game. Overall, F&M out-shot Dickinson, 14-4.Â
The win was also
Meghan Dole's third shutout of the season.
The Diplomats will remain on the road as they travel to take on No. 16 Bryn Mawr on Saturday, September 30 at 1 p.m.
