LANCASTER, Pa. - Riding a three-game win streak, the Franklin & Marshall Field Hockey team won its fourth straight game, defeating No. 16 Bryn Mawr, 1-0. The Diplomats have now outscored their opponents 10-1 since September 20.
Following a scoreless first period,
Jessica Miller scored in the 19th minute for the lone goal of the game. Through the game's first two quarters, the Diplomats held the Owls to just one shot on goal.
The second half featured just five combined shots with F&M outshooting Bryn Mawr, 3-2.
Meghan Dole saved each of the Owls' shots in the final 30 minutes and hung on to her fourth shutout of the season.
Allison McCarey and Miller each registered a team-high two shots on the afternoon.
The Diplomats will return home as they face Gettysburg on Wednesday, October 4 at 7 p.m. at Tylus Field.
