ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Boasting four double-digit scorers on the afternoon, the Franklin & Marshall Men's Basketball team came away with an 88-67 road win against Muhlenberg. With the win, the Diplomats stay atop the conference standings.

Despite a back-and-forth start to the game, F&M never trailed and led by as much as six in the first 10 minutes. Up 17-16 at the 11-minute mark, a 14-2 run by the Diplomats gave F&M a 13-point advantage with under seven minutes left to go til the intermission. However, over the next two minutes, the Mules answered with nine consecutive points to get to within four. By the three-minute mark, Muhlenberg trailed by just one, down 35-34, but the Diplomats closed out the half outscoring the Mules 6-2 to take a 41-36 lead into the break.

The two teams then traded buckets to begin the second period, as F&M held a slim, 50-46 edge over the Mules with just over 13 minutes remaining in the game. In the following minute, the Diplomats scored six unanswered points to go back up by double-digits, and eventually led 61-51 by the 10-minute mark. With Muhlenberg shooting 1-of-6 from the floor in the next five minutes, F&M doubled its lead to 20, going ahead 78-58. The Diplomats went on to comfortably close out the win, improving their conference record to 5-1 and reaching double-digit wins on the year.

Tallying 20 points on the afternoon, Kevin Nowoswiat led the team in scoring and shot 7-of-9 from the field. Josh Parra recorded a second straight double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. As a team, F&M dominated in the paint, outscoring the Mules 46-20.
