BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Katie Scott and Tara Silverman were both individual award winners for their respective top 25 finishes during the Green Race of the Paul Short Run on Saturday at Lehigh. Those two standouts paced a 10th-place team finish for the women's cross country team who was competing at the 6,000 meter distance for the first time this season.

Scott finished 12th overall in the field of 245 finishers with a time of 23:17.2. Silverman was not far behind her teammate in 20th place with a time of 23:29.1. Both Scott and Silverman were recognized in a post race awards ceremony along with the other top 25 individuals for the day's races.

Annalise Kaufman was F&M's third finisher on the day as she broke the 25-minute mark with her time of 24:56.6. Georgia Hodgson (25:41.8) and Abby Bachman (25:46.6) finished within seconds of each other as the team's fourth and fifth runners. Hana Hyman (27:03.4) and Riley Schlosser (28:45.3) were F&M's sixth and seventh runners across the finish line on Saturday.

Women's cross country now has two weeks before the Diplomats return to action at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday, October 19. That will be Franklin & Marshall's final competition before the Centennial Conference Championship during the first weekend of November.
