LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall softball team has announced its 2025 schedule. 2025's slate includes opening the year in Tucson, Arizona for the second-straight season, seven home dates, and three series against teams that featured in last season's NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.
For the second consecutive season, the Diplomats will begin the campaign at the Tucson Invitational Games from Friday, March 7 through Friday, March, 14. They anticipate playing two games a day, totaling 16 games across the week with opponents to be determined.
Following the spring break trip, F&M resumes play with non-conference away trips at Penn State Brandywine on Thursday, March 20 and Moravian on Tuesday, March 25.
The Diplomats open their Centennial Conference slate at Swarthmore on Tuesday, April 1. They'll return to the Baker Campus Field hosting Lebanon Valley in the home opener on Wednesday, April 2. It marks the first of seven home series in 2025.
F&M then host back-to-back Landmark Conference matchups including Haverford on Saturday, April 5 and Muhlenberg on Tuesday, April 8 before concluding the home stand against Alvernia on Thursday, April 10.
Softball then travels to McDaniel on Saturday, April 12, before hosting Gettysburg on Tuesday, April 15. They face non-conference Delaware Valley on the road on Thursday, April 17, and then host Dickinson on Saturday, April 19.
The regular season concludes with four series in the final quick including a trip to Ursinus on Tuesday, April 22, a home set against York on Thursday, April 24, and road series against Washington College on Saturday, April 26 and Marywood on Sunday, April 27.
The Centennial Conference Tournament begins with the First Round play-in game on Tuesday April 29, while the four-team, double elimination will occur from Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4.
The NCAA Regional weekend is slated for Thursday, May 15 through Saturday, May 17. The NCAA Super Regional weekend is scheduled Thursday, May 22 through Friday, May 23, while the NCAA Women's College World Series in Bloomington, Indiana from Thursday, May 29 to Thursday, June 5.
