SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Participating in its last competition before the conference championships, the Franklin & Marshall Men's Swimming team raced at the Swarthmore Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The Diplomats took part in six races with four swimmers, including
Jason Creed,
Jarrett Driever,
Nick Lowell and Matthew Hopkins.
Leading the way was Hopkins, who registered first place finishes in both the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle with times of 50.77 and 46.46, respectively. Creed swam in the 1650-yard freestyle and finished with a time of 17:04.38. While Driever competed in both the 400-yard IM and 200-yard breaststroke, Lowell raced in the 200-yard IM.
Up next, F&M will close out the season at the Centennial Conference Championships, hosted by Gettysburg from February 22-25.
