LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team competed in the second night of the 2026 Centennial Conference Swimming Championship on Friday night. The Diplomats set F&M's tenth-best 400 medley relay time, while
Ben Lockey had the best individual result, earning eighth place in the 50 freestyle.
Through the fifth day, the Diplomats maintain fifth place with 129 points.
In the 400 medley relay, the team of
Nick Lowell,
Patrick Rooney,
Riley Williams, and
Ben Lockey earned sixth place in the A Final, setting F&M's tenth-best time in the event at 3:25.57.
Sam Kamdin,
Luke Healey,
Ethan Ferris, and
Thomas Smolinski were fourth in the B Final.
F&M's best individual performance came via
Ben Lockey's eighth-place finish in the A Final. He reduced 0.06 hundredths off his personal record in the preliminaries to stay ninth in program history at 20.85.
Matthew Tilghman claimed sixth in the 500 freestyle B Final, while
Noah Drexler earned eighth place in that event.
The Diplomats return to the pool on Saturday with preliminaries at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 6:00 p.m. The day's events include the 200 freestyle relay, 400 individual medley, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, and 100 backstroke.
