Women's Swimming in Fourth Place After Day Three of CC Championships

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - With three of the four days of competition now completed, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Swimming team is in fourth place of the Centennial Conference Championships with 285 points.

In the lone relay race of the evening, Ruhbani Sidhu, Kate Posner, Erin Suter and Stephanie Dolan claimed third place of the "B" final with 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.82. 

Finishing with a time of 59.53 in the 100-yard butterfly, Caitlin Barr recorded the 10th-best time in program history in the event. Sophie Moyer then notched a time of 1:07.64 in the 100-yard breaststroke, which was good for sixth all-time in program history.

Closing the day with the 100-yard backstroke, Rachel Baker and Sophie Bergstrom both entered the top-10 times of program history. Baker reached fourth all-time with a time of 58.80, while Bergstrom got to eighth all-time with a time of 59.75. 

The Diplomats will now wrap up the championships tomorrow, with the day scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. The awards ceremony will occur after the conclusion of the night session.
