Women's Tennis Overpowers Stevens, 6-3

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team (2-7) surged past Stevens (3-4), 6-3, in Saturday's non-conference match by claiming five of the six singles' matches in the victory.

The Diplomats picked up a win in the third doubles match of the day as the duo of Kakie Colclough and Presley Daggett won, 8-5, for their sixth victory as a pair this season.

Sophia Rhazali outlasted her opponent in three sets to earn a win in the No. 2 position for her fourth victory of the year. Rebecca Bellick downed her opponent, 6-1, 6-1, in the No. 3 slot for her fourth win of the season. Amelia Squires rolled through the No. 4 singles match with final scores of 6-2, 6-1 to pick up her fourth victory of the 2023-24 campaign. Lorena Saavedra denied her opponent in the No. 5 match, 6-0, 6-1 to earn the fifth win of her rookie season. Colclough earned 6-0, 6-2 wins to claim her third singles' victory of the year.

Franklin & Marshall hits the road to face Millersville Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
