LANCASTER, Pa. – Dan Galef of the Franklin & Marshall baseball team has earned a spot on the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III Region 5 All-Defensive Team, as announced by ABCA on Thursday.

Galef was tabbed as the best defensive pitcher in the region after posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 15 assists, three putouts, and three successful pickoff attempts during the 2024 season. On the mound, the junior posted a 5.13 ERA and 1.58 WHIP to claim a 6-3 record this season. Galef tallied the team's second-highest number of strikeouts with 45 in 54.1 innings pitched this year.

Franklin & Marshall ended the 2024 campaign with a 19-20 overall record and 11-7 Centennial Conference record – concluding the year with the CC Tournament.
