LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall College athletics and recreation department is proud to partner with men's golf alumni and supporters to launch the F&M Men's Golf Network. This initiative seeks to unite current and former members of the F&M Golf team, cultivate a lively community, offer support to present and former student-athletes, and establish opportunities for networking and mentorship.
The F&M Men's Golf Network is dedicated to strengthening connections among former members of the F&M Men's Golf program by fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Our goals include creating networking opportunities that can benefit alumni both professionally and personally, while also providing crucial support to enhance the F&M Men's Golf program. By engaging alumni in meaningful ways, we aim to bolster the program's visibility and success.
Our network organizes a variety of events designed to bring alumni together and support the F&M Men's Golf program. These may include annual fundraising auctions where attendees can bid on exclusive items, golf events that promote friendly competition and networking, and social gatherings that encourage interaction among members. The first fundraising auction will be held online from October 30th to November 6th, 2024 on charity site Member for a Day. Additionally, we plan to host mentorship programs to offer guidance and career advice to current students and recent graduates.
Alumni contributions are vital in enhancing the experiences of current F&M Men's Golf student-athletes. Gifts to the Diplomat Athletic Club men's golf annual fund and proceeds from fundraising events support some of the program's greatest needs, including spring pre-season trips to top golf resorts, where athletes can receive valuable training and exposure. Contributions also assist with plans of gaining access to state-of-the-art training facilities and cover travel expenses for competitions, ensuring that our athletes have the resources they need to excel.
Joining the F&M Men's Golf Network is free of charge and offers numerous benefits, including exclusive event access, networking opportunities, and updates on the program's progress. Prospective members can sign up through our website or by contacting our membership coordinator. We encourage involvement through volunteer opportunities and contributions, helping to shape the future of the F&M Golf program while reconnecting fellow alumni.
