No. 21 Women's Squash Cruises to 8-1 Win Over No. 30 William Smith

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 21 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team picked up a dominate 8-1 victory over No. 30 William Smith Friday evening at the Mayser Center Squash Courts. F&M improves to 3-6, while William Smith falls to 0-9 this season.

Tatum Long (No. 5), Rory Dasher (No. 6) and Joey Ho (No. 7) all swept their opponents, 3-0, to claim their third individual wins of the season. Gurlin Kaur (No. 1) and Zarine Gidwaney (No. 2) set the tone early with 3-0 sweeps to pick up their second individual victories of the year. Mia Todd (No. 3), Ashanti Amastal (No. 4) and Lavanya Seshasayee (No. 8) also notched their second individual wins of the winter as they blanked their opponents, 3-0.

No. 21 Franklin & Marshall looks to build onto the momentum when it hosts the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships. The Diplomats begin the tournament with a match against Drexel on Friday, February 7 at 4:30 p.m.
