PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's rowing team opened the fall 2025 slate by taking 8 out of 19 in the Men's Collegiate 8+ at the Head of the Ohio. The men's team also raced in the Men's Collegiate 4+ on Saturday in Pittsburgh.
From bow to stern, the varsity 8+ crew featured
Jacob Ripperger,
Zaeem Zia,
Saul Schoenholtz,
Max Taxter,
Max Goldman,
Aemon Cameron,
Tai Jespersen,
Moemen Ibrahim, and
Don Ang as coxswain. The crew finished the event in 13:45.120, beating out crews from Penn State, Case Western, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and more.Â
The varsity 4+ crew from bow to stern of

Ahmed Sherif,
Kunaal Chatterjee,
Peter Kutscher, and
Mithayus Diaz as coxswain earned 19th place with a time of 16:24.542, beating teams from Ohio State, Carnegie Mellon and Penn State.Â
"This was a great early showing for the Diplomats. Both crews put together good and competitive races and we're looking forward to the next couple of weeks to get even stronger before the fall season wraps up," said Head Coach

The Diplomats are back in action when they travel for a dual meet against Washington College on Saturday, October 18.
