PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's rowing team began the fall 2025 racing season with Saturday's Head of the Ohio regatta, with the Women's Collegiate 4+ taking 10th out of 25.
The Diplomats' varsity 4+ lineup from bow to stern of
Skyler Houghton,
Nancy Nguyen,
Maria Darrup,
Audrey Zawoiski, and
Macy Bush finished with a time of 16:45.909, beating teams from West Virginia, Case Western, Duquesne, Robert Morris and more.
The first Women's Collegiate 8+ lineup was set to race but encountered equipment issues that prevented them from competing. From bow to stern, the lineup would have featured
Amy Ni,
Trang Ho,
Ruth Donohue,
Savanna Maness,
Iman Hasnani,
Lucy Connolly,
Sarah Blum,
Louise Truong, and
Lauren Caltrider as coxswain.
"It was a great, competitive performance by the women's four and it showcased solid development and growth for the program. Unfortunately, the women's eight wasn't able to compete, but we're looking forward to being able to race two more times this fall," said Head Coach
Bob Brady.
The Diplomats compete again when they travel to Washington College for a dual meet on Saturday, October 18.
