LITITZ, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team concluded its fall schedule with its "B" team and "C" team finishing in the top-three of the Lancaster Bible Fall Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club. After Monday's round was rained out, the tournament condensed to one round that was played Tuesday afternoon. The F&M "C" team carded a 296 (12-over par) to place second, while the Diplomats' "B" team tallied a 298 (14-over par) to finish in third out of 13 teams competing. Albright came away with the team victory, shooting a 294 (10-over par) in Tuesday's round.
Three Diplomats finished in the top-10 of the individual standings, highlighted by
Winston Thai of F&M's "B" team placing second out of 65 golfers with a 70 (one-under par) score.
Franklin & Marshall's "C" team was led by
Riley Norton's 72 (one-over par) to finish in a tie for fifth.
Harry Zhang closely followed with a 73 (two-over par) in Tuesday's round to end the day tied for seventh.
Jake Kurtzman carded a 75 (four-over par) to finish in a tie for 12th, while
Tommy Marshall registered a 76 (five-over par) to tie for 15th.
Harrison Brown rounded out the Diplomats' "C" team, shooting an 82 (11-over par) to tie for 32nd in the tournament.
Alex Gore of F&M's "B" team finished just outside the top-10 as he carded a 75 (four-over par) to place in a tie for 12th.
Aaron Liu notched a 76 (five-over par) to end the LBC Invitational in a tie for 15th.
Pablo Rodriguez fired a 77 (six-over par) on Tuesday to tie for 18th in the standings.
David McNamara wrapped up the day for the Diplomats, shooting an 86 (15-over par) to tie for 46th.
Franklin & Marshall has now finished its fall slate and looks forward to a much-anticipated spring season.
