Men's Soccer Ties Haverford, 0-0, on Senior Day

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team (3-10-3, 1-5-2 CC) played Haverford (9-0-9, 2-0-6 CC) to a 0-0 draw in Saturday afternoon's Centennial Conference (CC) contest at Tylus Field. The Diplomats and Fords both showcased stingy defense as neither team could find the back of the net.

F&M generated early pressure on offense as Thomas Kaplan fired a shot that was saved in the 14th minute. Just two minutes later, Miguel Rosa had two chances in front of the cage. However, his initial attempt was blocked and the following shot just bounced wide of the post for a goal kick.

Franklin & Marshall opened the second half with a shot by Sean Lipschutz that was blocked by the Haverford defense. The Diplomats followed with back-to-back corner kicks that resulted in a blocked shot off the foot of Nico Palacios in the 57th minute. F&M recorded shots on goal from Kaplan and Jack Baer in the final 30 minutes of the match, but both chances were denied by goalkeeper Grayson Benson.

Haverford outshot the Diplomats, 21-10, in the game with the Fords allowing just three shots on target. Kaplan and Rosa led F&M with three shots apiece, while Palacios notched two shots in the contest. Davis Rorick made five saves, while Nolan Booth recorded two saves to complete F&M's fourth clean sheet of the season.

Franklin & Marshall celebrated Senior Day on Saturday to cap off its home regular season slate. The Diplomats conclude the 2025 season on the road at McDaniel on Saturday, starting at 2:00 p.m.
