LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall cross country teams made history at the conference championship with both Tara Silverman and Katie Scott being named to the All-Centennial Conference Team for their top 14 individual finishes. The honors continued to come for the the men's and women's teams as Aiden Cotter and Lucy Olsen were named to the conference's all-sportsmanship team.
A junior, Cotter placed 70th at this year's Centennial Conference Championship to mark the best finish of his conference career. Majoring in both business, organizations & society, along with government, Cotter also earned a top 10 finish during the team's home opener.
Olsen, a senior, competed in the second Centennial Conference Championship of her career where she placed 93rd in the field. A native of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Olsen set a new two-mile personal best earlier this fall during the team's home opener. She is majoring in earth & environmental science.
Both the men's and women's cross country teams will be in action this Saturday, November 15 at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships where spots for both teams and individuals will be on the line to the Division III National Championship.
