LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's and women's cross country teams have announced their 2026 schedules. Both teams return a majority of their postseason entrants from 2025, with multiple individuals who have their sights set on the NCAA Championships.
The season begins at home on Tuesday, September 1 as the Diplomats host the Little Three Meet on Baker Campus. The women placed second during that meet a season ago and will look to improve on that finish on their home course. Just two weeks later, F&M will see the Red Devils again at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational on the course that will also host the regional championship.
October's races include the prestigious Paul Short Run at Lehigh on Friday, October 2 and a trip to Gettysburg on Saturday, October 17 for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational.
The postseason gets underway with Haverford hosting the Centennial Conference Championship on Saturday, October 31. Both Tara Silverman and Katie Scott earned All-CC honors at that meet a season ago, while the men placed seventh as a team. The regional championship will be hosted in Newville on Saturday, November 14. Silverman and Scott placed 21st and 24th, respectively, a season ago at the regional championship. Zach Houff paced the men's team with a 45th-place showing before qualifying for nationals during the indoor track & field season.
For qualified teams and individuals, the Division III National Championship will be held in Northfield, Minnesota on Saturday, November 21.
