LANCASTER, Pa.- For the fourth time in 2025, and in back-to-back weeks,
Caitlin Hoover has been named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week following a week where she was involved in every goal in a 2-0 week for the Diplomats.
Hoover totaled five points, with a goal and three assists across road wins against Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore, as the No. 13 Diplomats secured the second seed and a first-round bye in the Centennial Conference Tournament. She assisted both of F&M's goals in a 2-0 win over Bryn Mawr on Tuesday. In Saturday's 2-1 win at Swarthmore, she assisted F&M's opening goal from
Sophia Sarbanes before providing a needed insurance goal on a penalty stroke. With her assist against Swarthmore, she became F&M's tenth player to reach 100 career points.
The No. 13 Franklin & Marshall field hockey team (15-3, 8-2 Centennial Conference) opens the 2025 Centennial Conference tournament as the #2 seed in the semifinals on Thursday, November 6, at 7:00 p.m., facing the highest-remaining seed following Tuesday's first-round matchups (#3 Dickinson vs. #6 Ursinus, #4 Swarthmore vs. #5 Haverford).
