SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. – A win in the distance medley relay highlighted the Franklin & Marshall men's indoor track & field meet Saturday as the Diplomats competed at the Susquehanna Invitational. The win was one of six top 10 finishes on the day which also featured four new additions to the F&M record book in the throwing events.

The Diplomats' DMR was nearly a full second faster than second place Mansfield to take home the gold medal as the team of Zach Houff, Henry Clapper, Holden Brown, and Owen McCann got the baton around the track in a time of 11:00.58. In addition to running the leadoff leg of the winning relay, Houff led F&M's efforts in the 800 meters as his time of 2:00.31 placed him sixth in that field.

The school record book additions all came in the weight throw where Will Bramley, Ben Ford, Ben Ostroski, and Dustin Stoetzel each had personal bests in the weight throw. Bramley continues to inch closer to the school record in that event as his latest personal best throw of 15.82 meters was good for a second-place finish at this weekend's meet.

Ford (13.64m) and Ostroski (13.50m) made it three Diplomats in the top 10 of the final event standings as their best throws now rank seventh and eighth, respectively, in school history. Stoetzel just missed a top 10 finish with his latest personal best of 13.22 meters ranking 10th in school history. In addition to the weight throw success, Austin Hadley took sixth in the shot put with his best mark of 13.14 meters.

Other leaders on the track for the Diplomats included Justin Harrison who took 24th in the 200 meters (24.27), Adam Green finishing 14th in the 400 meters (53.68), Sean Gorman placing 13th in the mile (4:42.17), and Seamus Downey claiming 16th place in the 3,000 meters (9:40.33). Tom Dowd joined Green in recording a top 15 finish in the 400 meters with his time of 53.73 seconds. Wesley Ihezuo was the team's top finisher in the long jump with a mark of 5.35 meters.

Men's track & field has one more regular season meet on its indoor schedule before the Diplomats host the Centennial Conference Championships during the first weekend in March. That final regular season indoor meet will see the team travel to Cornell for the Deneault Invitational on Saturday, February 22.
