2/8/2025 11:03:00 PM

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's indoor track & field team returned to its home facility on Saturday as the Diplomats hosted their final home meet of the regular season – The Blue & White Invitational – inside the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center (ASFC). The day was highlighted by Will Bramley winning the weight throw, while the Diplomats had two more runner-up showings, and eight top 10 placements across all of the events.

Bramley, who currently ranks second in school history in the weight throw, had another great day as his best throw was marked at 15.34 meters to take home the individual gold. Bramley also won the weight throw at the Coach I Invitational and has not finished outside of the top three in that event during any of the team's meets this season. His efforts led a strong team performance in the weight throw, with Ben Ford (13.32 meters) and Ben Ostroski (12.75) registering the eighth and ninth-best throws in school history. Another highlight of the throwing events was a personal best from Austin Hadley in the shot put as his best mark of 13.95 meters placed him fifth and strengthens his fifth-place slot in the school record book.

Adam Green was the highlight on the track as he ran to a second-place finish in the 300 meters. His time of 37.05 seconds now ranks as the seventh-best in school history. Teammate Wesley Ihezuo was ninth in that same event (37.89 seconds), posting the eighth-best time in school history. Green later ran the lead off leg of the second-place 4x400 meter relay which finished in a time of 3:32.66 and featured Tom Dowd, Justin Harrison, and Holden Brown on the final three legs.

In addition to their relay exploits, Dowd added a ninth-place finish in the 500 meter race (1:09.97). Brown was another top 10 individual finisher for the Diplomats as he crossed the line in a time of 2:02.50 during the 800 meter race. Owen McCann headlined a number of distance runners who took to the track with a fourth-place showing in the mile (4:30.05).

Greg Bruno just missed adding even more top 10 finishes to the Diplomats' day in the field events as he took 11th in the high jump (1.50 meters) and 12th in the pole vault (3.34 meters).

The Diplomats have two more meets remaining on their indoor regular season slate as they travel to Susquehanna and Cornell during the next two weekends before hosting the Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in the first weekend of March.
