LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's track & field team added two more scoring performances to its team total on Sunday to finish with 27 points at the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships. That total placed the Diplomats ninth in the team standings at the conclusion of the two-day championship meet.
Austin Hadley was the team's top point producer on Sunday as he claimed a fourth-place finish in the shot put as his best throw was marked at 14.17 meters. That new personal best moves him up to sixth in the F&M record books. Laurence Miller (12.11m) and Ben Ford (11.86m) also contested the shot put for the Diplomats, turning in top 20 individual finishes.
Franklin & Marshall scored on the track with an eighth-place showing from the 4x400 relay which consisted of Tom Dowd, Wesley Ihezuo, Justin Harrison, and Zach Houff. That relay finished in a time of 3:31.40 with a season best time.
The Diplomats' highest placing individual on the track Sunday was Owen McCann who finished 12th in the mile (4:25.64) to register the sixth-fastest time in school history for the event. Ihezuo and Henry Clapper led F&M in their respective 200 meter (23.54) and 400 meter (55.47) races.
Men's track & field continues the postseason portion of the indoor schedule when the team's qualified individuals travel to Ithaca, New York on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 for the All-Atlantic Regional Championships.
